The plain-language terms

The service. ColorScan runs a camera-based color measurement and returns a seasonal color classification with supporting metrics. The scan and your verdict are free. The full dossier is an optional one-time purchase ($19 at current pricing) that unlocks the extended report for that scan.

What the results are. Your report is cosmetic and styling guidance derived from real measurements. It is not medical, dermatological, or diagnostic advice of any kind. Colors are measured under a controlled capture, and honest measurement sometimes means the scan refuses to answer rather than guessing; a refusal costs nothing and you can rescan immediately.

Payments. Purchases are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. A purchase unlocks the dossier for the specific scan it was made on, at its private link, indefinitely.

Refunds. Every dossier purchase carries a seven-day money-back guarantee. Reply to your Stripe receipt within seven days of purchase and the charge is refunded in full, with no questions asked.

Your capture. You must be the person in front of the camera, or have their permission. The capture photos are deleted the moment your measurements are computed and are never stored; the measurements are kept against an anonymous session, as described in the privacy notice, and the report page includes a delete action that removes them permanently. Deleting a capture also removes the purchased dossier attached to it, so export your print copy first.

Acceptable use. Please do not scrape the service, resell reports, or attempt to overload or reverse the measurement pipeline. We may suspend access that abuses the service.

Liability. The service is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes. If these terms change, the date below changes with them. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
